Which awards to enter?
As a proud Yorkshire PR-firm, we’ve selected some of the key awards to enter in and around the region. When you come to entering an award, make sure you put plenty of effort in. After all, you may just end up with a trophy or two. And trophies can mean more business!
Here’s a few awards well worth looking at, but make sure you check out the entire list:
Business Masters Awards – With the 2nd February deadline for entries creeping up, now is the perfect time to enter theBusinessDesk.com’s annual Business Masters Awards, which recognise and showcase the achievements and success of businesses in the Yorkshire region. The awards dinner will be on April 26 at The Queens Hotel in Leeds.
Harrogate Advertiser Business Awards – These awards are great for Harrogate based companies, with a deadline of Monday 5 February, the 1920’s themed awards dinner will be held on April 19.
Made in Sheffield Awards – Celebrating excellence in manufacturing across Sheffield, the closing date for entries for these awards is February 9, with the awards being held on April 26. So, if fit the criteria, make sure you get your thinking cap on.
Eaton Smith Business of the month award – with our founder previously sitting on the judging panel whilst working as marketing manager for the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, we have the insider knowledge as to what these awards want to see. Open to businesses in Kirklees, Calderdale, and Wakefield, local exposure can be gained from scooping this title. As the name suggests, these awards are held monthly and early July each year sees the 12 finalists compete for the annual award in the presence of hundreds of leading business people from the Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield and surrounding areas.
The Northern Tech Awards – Next up is the Northern Tech Awards, celebrating the great and the good in the technology arena. Entries need to be received by February 23, with the awards show on March 22.
North East Accountancy Awards – You have until March 1 to get your entry submitted for these prestigious accountancy awards, with the party to celebrate the winners being held on June 28. Don’t forget to enter if your business has something to shout about in the accountancy industry.
Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards – Know a woman worthy of a nomination in the Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards? Our founder was shortlisted in 2016 and notes the credibility the shout-out and proud display of the badge gave her. Simply click on the link above and submit your form by March 24. The awards do will be held on May 12, so make sure you get the preparations underway!
We Are The City Rising Star Awards – These female specific awards are split into three categories: Rising Star, Champion and Company. Do you know a hard working female that fits the criteria? Make sure to submit your nomination by March 25.
The North of England Wedding Awards – Did you know we have a subsidiary company which specialises in wedding PR? Perhaps The Wedding PR Specialists is your perfect partner if you’d like to grab an award in this prestigious scheme run by our friends over on The Wedding Guide UK! Get your entries in by April 24, with your party frock or suit ironed or pressed by September 19.
