Following the success of last year’s MacCelebration, which saw us hold a networking event attended by more than 60 people, raising hundreds of pounds for The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust, we’ve decided to extend our support for more charities this year, via a month-long charity challenge!
Our charity challenge will begin on 21st April and will see our team dress up for themed days such as Disney, Pajamas and even a ‘man Monday’, as well as offering free PR support via drop-in clinics, supporting Simon on the Streets to provide volunteers with additional support on the beat, as well as helping them get clued up with social media. We’ll also be getting fit with help from clients and supporters such as All Shape Up who will teach us some exercise tips every hour one day, and GoodSense Training will teach us some self-defence moves!
We’re dedicating our second MacCelebration to two charities, Soft UK which supports families affected by Trisomy 13 and Trisomy 18 and Simon on the Streets homelessness charity. Our grand finale will commence on 19th May where we’ll attend the Simon on the Streets rough diamond ball.
Watch this space for the daily challenges we’ll be completing!
