Having gained our longest-standing client, The Car Buying Group, through a referral from the well-connected MD of PMG, Mike, he saw the press coverage and awards we’d won for the online car buying company and instantly jumped at the chance to both support a local charity and experience MacComms’ PR services for himself. Mike bid on Simon on the Streets’ PR package, which we’d donated as part of the rough diamond ball in 2017, and we instantly got to work building a strategic PR plan, media lists of the print management firm’s key sectors’ journalists and creating a professional press pack. Following this success, PMG took us on board to manage their on-going PR across Yorkshire business press, print trade media, as well as managing an active social media presence and entering the ambitious firm into key awards – of which they won a ‘Business of the month’ award in January 2018.
