Cooper King Distillery

A start-up homemade Yorkshire gin and whiskey distillery, Cooper King Distillery has commissioned MacComms to promote its crowdfunding campaign via a Founder’s Club membership.

With a true Yorkshire heritage dating back to 1843, the family run business behind the Yorkshire-made spirits have a great regional story to tell which is what they have appointed MacComms to do.

We are also helping the entrepreneurs to maximise exposure of their regional roots via a focused PR campaign in which we’ll identify, engage and send key journalists and bloggers samples and content ahead of Yorkshire Day.

Once a scientist and an architect, partners in business and life, Chris and Abbie are the founders of Cooper King Distillery, England’s smallest whisky distillery. Inspired by a Tasmanian adventure, researching for a whisky blog for friends back home, these small producers were carving a path for hand-crafted premium whisky made locally from York.
