Our founder and managing director, Ellie MacDonald, will speak to an audience of young professionals about her entrepreneurial journey at an event on 5th July 2017.
Ellie will provide an insightful presentation as part of a networking event organised by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Leeds and JCI Bradford.
The event invites local business professionals to enjoy an evening of networking, drinks and canapes at The Grill on the Square in Leeds at 7.00pm until 9pm.
Inside the venue’s private conservatory, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to a number of other inspiring entrepreneurs, all from a range of industry backgrounds.
Since inception, MacComms has helped more than 50 firms to raise their profile; assisting fellow start-ups and SMEs with their communications and public relations strategies.
Commenting on the event, Ellie MacDonald said:
“It is incredibly important to me to share industry knowledge with fellow entrepreneurs, as I too have learnt a great deal from others during my business journey. I am very passionate about PR and actively try to find opportunities to educate others about the fundamental role PR plays in running a successful business.”
President at JCI Bradford, Philip Cockayne added:
“Following Ellie’s successful contribution as a speaker on the Young Entrepreneurs Panel, which we organised for last year’s Yorkshire Enterprise Network conference, we’re looking forward to having her back to speak at JCI Leeds’ summer networking event.
“Ellie has demonstrated an impressive rate of growth with her start-up PR agency, MacComms, and we feel other businesses will really benefit from her experience, knowledge and expertise.”
Tickets for the event are free and can be obtained here.
