We are proud to announce its first permanent staff member following a successful internship.
MacComms, established by Ellie MacDonald in April last year, has made the appointment to support the growth of the business and its position as the wedding PR specialists.
Grace Morton, originally from Norwich, joined the MacComms team following her graduation from The University of Huddersfield where she studied English Literature and Creative Writing.
Grace began her internship at MacComms as account executive for 12 weeks from June to August. Following her successful internship, she was offered a permanent position at MacComms to become the first permanent staff member to join the MacComms team.
Ellie says “After a successful internship it was a pleasure to offer Grace a permanent position at MacComms. She has taken on a new role and learnt fast, continually showing enthusiasm and enjoyment for the role.”
Grace was delighted to accept the permanent position at MacComms, utilising her strong background in writing and English skills. She has already embarked on training to develop her knowledge and support the growing business.
Grace commented “It is a fantastic achievement to be offered a permanent position following my 12-week internship at MacComms. Throughout my internship I have developed my writing skills and been supported by Ellie, I look forward to growing within the business”
With an ever growing team Ellie is dedicated to supporting students both at The University of Huddersfield and Kirklees College through work experience and internship opportunities.
