A Leeds-based multi-national web development and digital marketing agency has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards.
GRM Digital has made the finals in the UK Agency Awards for Best Crisis Communications or Response Campaign for its work in supporting businesses throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
It is also in the running for the Digital Agency Award as part of Leeds Digital Festival.
Earlier this year, the firm launched a competition offering local off-line businesses the chance to take their products and/or services online, choosing three worthy candidates to benefit from free of charge e-commerce stores to mitigate any losses incurred during the Coronavirus outbreak. Winners of the competition include off-grid renewable energy specialists Xerogrid and ICD Training which offers courses in energy and utilities.
Nej Gakenyi, CEO and founder of GRM Digital comments:
“When we saw neighbouring businesses negatively affected by Covid-19 we were keen to do what we could to help firms to continue trading throughout difficult times. We’re proud that our efforts have been recognised in these local and national awards.”
The Leeds Digital Festival Awards celebrate and give recognition to the people and companies who contributed to the region’s success in the last year.
The UK Agency Awards reward creative, design, digital, marketing, advertising, media and public relations agencies that are based in the UK.
GRM Digital, formed in 2009, will join finalists where the 2020 UK Agency Awards winners will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony taking place at the Montcalm Marble Arch Hotel in London on Tuesday 17 November 2020.
GRM Digital is headquartered in Leeds with further offices in London and Sarajevo. The company has worked with a range of world-leading brands and SMEs to enhance their online presence over the past 11 years.
